Our Director

Joshua J. Ezell is in his second year at Juan Seguin High School and his eightteenth year as an educator. Prior to coming to Seguin, Mr. Ezell was the director of choirs for Everman, Joe C. Bean High School, and served as the Coordinator for Choral and General Music for Everman ISD for five years. He has also served as a head director at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX, Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth, TX, and Rogene Worley Jr. High, Mansfield, TX. Mr. Ezell graduated from Georgia State University, where he majored in Sound Recording Technology with a concentration in piano. It was at Georgia State that he fell in love with choral music, where he sang in the University Singers under the direction of Dr. Alan Raines. Along with being a choir director, Mr. Ezell is currently in seminary at Tyndale Theological Seminary, getting his master's in divinity. He also is the music director at Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington, TX. Mr. Ezell is married to Nisondra Ezell and has three children, Raymond, Landon, and Rylee. In his spare time, Mr. Ezell enjoys freshwater and saltwater aquarium keeping, traveling, and spending time with his family.
